Jerry Garcia was the guitarist of The Grateful Dead as well as a myriad of other side projects. One of his longest-running bands was his solo band, The Jerry Garcia Band. The band, which consisted of an ever-changing lineup of friends, released two albums during Garcia's lifetime and then released many live sets posthumously.
