Vintage Absolution "NYC Reunion" T-Shirt
Aboslution was a New York hardcore band formed in 1987.Ā The band was a part of the late 80s NYHC scene that was documented on theĀ New Breed tape comp, a perfect way to explain the new group of bands popping up in the City. Singer Djinji Brown and guitarist Gavin Van Vlack, later of Burn, played a frantic style of hardcore with plenty of tempo changes and twists and turns. Besides theirĀ New BreedĀ appearance, the band released a 7" on Combined Efforts. This original Absolution shirt, in great condition with a small mark on the collar, is from the band's reunion shows.Ā
